Jesus' Birth
Commemorating Christmas ushers our minds, voices, and hearts to the majesty of His birth. He descended from heaven and was made in human likeness (Philippians 2: 7 NIV). Jesus came so that we could have abundant life, (John 10:10).
As we celebrate Christmas 2023, let us adore God (show deep love and respect) for Jesus Christ's birth. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary. Joseph had not consummated the marriage (Matthew 1:22-24). His name is Emmanuel, meaning God with us. He is with us in life, offers us peace, and supports us when disappointed or sorrowful.
Life
Let us adore Him for our lives. It's in Him that we live, move, and have our being(Acts 17:28),
Peace
His birth provided the opportunity to receive the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, and guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7.
Disappointments or Sorrows
When we have unfilled hopes, dreams, or sorrows, know that Jesus was born so that we could cast all our cares on Him, (1 Peter 5:7).
May you and your family be blessed with His mercy, strength, grace, safety, and health as we finish 2023 and throughout 2024!
