Build Life with Truth!

In a world that skirts truth

when in a tight spot or that

rewards individuals who

do not follow protocols, this post

highlights that truth still is

a necessary building block for

attaining and retaining significant

goals.

As we know, constructing a building

with either faulty materials or uneven

bricks, yields an unstable edifice. Once it's unsteady, the building can topple at any time. Let truth be a constant foundation in our lives.

"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," John 8:32 (King James Bible). When we know the truth, it is easier to speak the truth and operate in veracity. There is personal freedom because one does not have to be timid, wonder or lack confidence.

Truth averts lies and builds trust with family, friends and coworkers. Opportunities can flow to the person who is consistent with their speech and behavior.

When one speaks the truth with love (Ephesians 4:15) and concern for the listener, implementation of a desired outcome can be quickly embraced. Recipients know when the discussion is genuine and the intent of the feedback is to broaden their knowledge base.

Another opportunity relating to truth is seen in Proverbs 23:23: "Buy the truth. Do not sell it for love or money; buy wisdom, buy education, buy insight," (Message Bible). This passage underscores how important truth is for life. Buy it. Our investment in truth has great value.
