Honor is Due

Today, we honor those who chose to serve in the military in the United States of America. Their choice to represent the nation to maintain freedom is admirable. US military personnel gave the ultimate sacrifice. Originally, this day was referred to as Decoration Day after the Civil War. In 1971, the federal holiday was renamed Memorial Day; it is celebrated on the last Monday in May. We remember and salute them.

We pray for their families for comfort and the strength to continue according to

2 Corinthians 1:2-4 (NIV):

"Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we receive from God". This is an ongoing prayer.

Blessings are released for all for favor, understanding, safety, and health, in Jesus Christ's name.
