It's a Time for Thanksgiving!

Updated: Dec 1, 2020

Welcome! I am so thankful for my amazing family and friends. My cousin, Ann released me onto my blogging journey over four years ago. I never imagined that I'd still be blogging at this juncture. I am grateful for the project support from my husband, Darnell; my son, Dwight; my daughter, Melissa; as well as my son's fiancée, Melinda.

My editors, Dr. Modupe Oladeinde, Renee McCline and Freda Robinson offered their time generously! Pastor Tiffany McFee encouraged me to revise the book, since we are experiencing a world pandemic and noted that we need faith infused into us during this time. May "Fully Persuaded Faith" offer hope to those who read it worldwide. Kudos to the web developer, Eboni Lawrence. Her expertise is phenomenal!

Prayer is a journey from my perspective. It challenges us to think about where we position God - in or outside of our daily lives. Prayer calls us to release our views on our lives and approach the Maker through His Word for heavenly perspectives. Answers are not always microwave quick nor pointed in the direction that we initially envision. Yet, thankfulness opens hearts, minds and relationships, because we all like to feel treasured.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, remember to pray for all of us who lost loved ones in 2020. Yes, it's very sad. We need God's comfort as never before to fill the painful areas in our hearts. After my brother-in-law's loss in October 2020, I find comfort in rehearsing his amusing statements. Know that "He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds", Psalm 147:3. Reach out to someone this week. Encourage them!

Let's appreciate our families, friends, neighbors, past or current co-workers and God who allowed us to still be here, We have a gracious opportunity. Maximize it!

Blessing for favor and health...
